#1 Haiku

Wild Child

Hot and dangerous
Got that glitter on my eyes
Ready to party.

Woke up feeling numb
Partied all night long last night
Where the hell am I?

I look like a mess
I look dreadful and drunk
I smell like a skunk

Years of long teen angst
Rebels done for just nothing
Wasted on one night

Guess I've gone too far
Did I? Though I don't think so
Just another fault

What can I say now?
I'm free and all I can be
A wild child to be.

Explanation: This one whole 6 part haiku that I wrote is formed in a story way. I figured making 6 different haikus yet in based on one theme is too obvious and many people have done it but I thought making one haiku in a story way might be different in a good way. The theme I chose for this haiku is Teen Angst or we can just call it the life of teenagers. Teenagers these days are wild and crazy. They like to try different things, they like to party and they do lots of various things. In this haiku I made a story about a wild child. This wild child is a girl and she loves to party and drink and she does whatever she wants. I particularly love this haiku set because it really shows how teenagers are. We may look or seem innocent and googly eyes all the time, but we're actually pretty wild and we are full of attitude and swag.
